Service was quick, food was great, and the atmosphere really tied it all together.

Everything was good minus a weird taste on the Kaiser beer

I love this place! Anytime I get a chance to make it out to Waitsfield I stop in. They have great food, a wide variety of beer on tap, and a fun environment. If you are in the area you shouldn't waist your time at the over priced mountain restaurants when you have Local Folk as an option.

Could have been good.... We waited literally an hour and a half for our food which was cold when it got to us.... Beer was good.

Beers piss warm, bar tender is more cooked than a shaws rotisserie chicken.

There is something for everyone here. It's my favorite place in town!

Rib were excellent but our waitress was not good. She didn't know the specials and couldn't explain them when she found out, I ordered a beer and she never brought it and then it showed up on the bill.

Atmosphere, service, and most food was fantastic. We were seated promptly, and the waitress took our drink order right when we sat down. We had a great time shooting pool and playing arcade games while we waited for our food. Most of our food was terrific, which included BBQ Chicken, Pulled Pork, Dirty Rice, Mashed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, and French Fries. However, we ordered two racks of ribs for the table, and both racks were dry and rubbery. Dumping some of the homemade hot BBQ sauce on made them a bit better, but for a Smokehouse/BBQ restaurant they should really have much better ribs. Overall a solid experience.

Stacey at the bar is great! Very cool, rustic bar/restaurant. Nice outdoor deck for dining and drinking. Group of friends up here from New York. We will be back!!!

Great food, but service can be slow. Also, you should know that they don't take reservations, though that's kind of just a Vermont thing to prevent tourists who make 5 reservations at different restaurants and not showing up to four of them.

I love this local dive bar/BBQ restaurant! It has a very welcoming and fun feel. They have games (pool, and arcade games) which is great when we go out with our son, and they sometimes have live music. We often go when my in-laws are visiting from out of state. The food is enjoyable (pretty good - doesn't need to be the best I've ever had because the environment makes up for it!).

What a wonderful accident it was to end up here. On a road trip from Canada to New York via Vermont, we accidentally ended up finding this place. The food was utterly wonderful. Everything was very fresh and authentic. The restaurant stated everything was produced locally too, which would explain the freshness. Our waiter was wonderful and helpful. I couldn't have been happier accidentally finding this place. I'm keen as to drive out there just to do it all again!

Place is falling apart, smells really bad. Just run down and on it's last leg. Staff is really hit or complete miss. Games don't usually work, not a good place for kids. I also would recommend not eating here unless you are on antibiotics.

Great beer selection and half price Burgers on Tuesdays. Other food specials during the week. It's a regular stopping place.

The night we went it was very busy. They were short a server. But, our waitress was very friendly and the food was great. Made sure to leave a generous tip because you could tell she was slammed.

Great food. Terrible service. Received a bill that wasn’t correct. Was charged for ribs I never received on rib special night. Had to ask about specials. Waitress never came back to give me more water or check on me and didn’t even offer my daughter a plate to eat off of. Normally I don’t write a review but I must say the service was the worst I have ever received at a restraint. On a positive note, the ribs here are PHENOMINAL.

Place is currently closed for renovations.. sign on door said they were opening 5/16/2019 with the date crossed out.. its 5/19 and from the looks of it not sure renovations have begun..

Great selection of craft beers on tap (they even have an in-house brewery). Fun place with a good vibe populated with colorful locals. The food that I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious, plus they have a huge smoker set up outside the main entrance. How bad ass is that. Going to definitely give the food a try next time.

Classic BBQ joint , nothing fancy, great BBQ and tasty specials, local vibe, excellent beer selection. Not feeling BBQ try the Birdland Chicken Sandwhich - awesome!

Good ribs and pulled pork, but super duper slow service the day I was there. Was a nice day out so I was happy to hangout on the deck and chill, but in a different situation, the slow service could have been an issue.

Food was bland, Mac n cheese had no cheese, ribs were super dry, some food from our order never got delivered, and not all the drinks we requested were delivered. Would not go there again.

Good food and a good choice of beer. Great place to watch the Superbowl when we're over. Good local place with a good atmosphere.

Our food was horrible! How does their staple BBQ have no flavor? Fries were old and overcooked. Fish was underseasoned. And the mac and cheese ...even government cheese tastes better. And anyone who's ever had that knows exactly how bad it is so that saying something. But our waitress was awesome!
